The funny thing is that yesterday we had Pierre out running around downstairs, and when I was carrying him back upstairs, Zoe started down the stairs. I'm thinking, I'll let them get really close, so I put him down on a step and keep a close eye on her. She walks close, nonchalantly sniffs him, and continues down the stairs!
I think she's more interested in him when he's *in* the cage. Fickle kitties.
