Four food chains from Canada that I really miss:

The Keg

Swiss Chalet (*shakes fist at Buster*)

Lick's

New York Fries (particularly poutine)

There are also Timmies' sour cream glazed timbits, and Cultures' spinach salads.

But here in California, there's The Counter, Peet's iced coffee, brewed iced tea, Claim Jumper, cheap and awesome Mexican food and sushi everywhere.

Now that I'm drooling, I think it's time to make dinner.

You also get to enjoy

You also get to enjoy In-n-Out Burger! P.S. Should I bring you some Tim Horton's next month? :-)

What about St. Hubert's,

What about St. Hubert's, Harvey's, A&W and good old Dairy Queen?!

The last two I know are here in the states too but I tend to associate them with Canada more.

You know, I never had a

You know, I never had a St.Hubert close by so I've only been a couple times.

Harvey's... that too, but it's lower on the list :)

And the others are here so that doesn't count :P I have a weakness for A&W's onion rings.

And I do love In-n-Out!

that's odd ...

you don't have a "the keg" in san fran? i figured since we had 2 in denver that they were everywhere!

Poutinesca?

I suppose there's a tenuous link across the 49th parallel, but I had my first poutine at KFC in Toronto. Slightly redeemed myself by having another one off a food cart in front of the (not quite) ice festival. Presumably you could get a stateside order of KFC fries n a side of gravy n something to pass as the cheese n make your own?
