Immigration paperwork completed

Aaaaand done. Our printer and multifunction are making poor little "please, no more!" noises. That's the original forms for the filing of my adjustment of status, affidavit of support, advance parole, and work authorization (bottom .25-.5"). Plus an extra copy of all "new" supporting documentation of our relationship (bottom 0-.25"). Plus all supporting documentation itself and the originals.

Five months and $3200 later, I should have my green card by lunchtime tomorrow :)

Now time to rest up for the interview!

Come 'on ... this is California! You just ride an elephant across the Rio Grande, navigate across the desert with a government supplied GPS device and snack pack, hitch a ride up the 5 freeway through a border check that hasn't been in action for 3 years, and viola!, you're in a state quickly strangling itself to death under the burden of caring for Mexico's bottom 50% of society. What's all this talk about paperwork? Free school, free medial care, welfare, social services, why be here legally? /vent
