Do cloned sheep dream of being approved by the FDA?
To be honest, I wouldnt give it a second thought. But then I'm the same way with GM foods, that doesnt bother me either*. I dont know why, I guess I just feel that I have to have a reason to avoid something (food or drinkwise), rather than needing a reason not to.
So yeah, cloned meat, cloned milk, bring it on. One day I'll be eating a cheeseburger where the patty is made with beef from a cloned cow, the cheese is made from milk taken from another clone of the same cow, the bun is made from GM wheat, and the salad on the bun will all be GM too. And on a basic level, can it really be any worse for me than your standard cheeseburger? I'm quite looking forward to it in a way. If nothing else, eating cloned food makes me feel one step closer to getting a hovercar... :)
*I do have reservations about GM foods, but its more worries about introducing a GM species to the ecosystem than worries about eating it.
