Suffering from a serious lack of relaxing evening activities that don't involve electronic devices, we wandered into Games of Berkeley tonight and picked up Fluxx, some playing cards, and a Van Gogh jigsaw puzzle. Gobi had recommended Carcassonne to me, which they had, but I think we'll save that for another trip. Â

Carcassone is an absolutely AWESOME game...but you need to play it with at least four people or it won't do much for you.

Fluxx is fun. Get the expansion sets, that allow you to make your own cards and come with some really weird stuff. And it's true that the best way to play is 4+ people. But when you get to about 11, you should stop.

Fluxx is a truly excellent game. Better with about 4 players, but still a lot of fun with 2. :D
