What are the things that you consistently splurge or save on?
My splurges: I always buy high quality meat, pointing devices, sex toys, pet food, salad dressing, bedding, knives...
My saves: Store brands for most other food/household items, cheap shoes, clothes, toiletries/makeup, furniture, cables/PC parts...

Splurge: Mac & Cheese (everything but Kraft is crap), salsa, toys (real ones, I'm a collector and a geek), DS games (buy used for every other system, mostly).
Save: clothes I always buy used, store-brands for most foods.
Oh yeah, I totally have to agree with that! I refuse to buy Kraft products (not supporting a tobacco company), but I like Annie's organic mac n cheese :)
Same with peanut butter. Cheapo peanut butter sucks.
Bleh, really? I love good quality cheese but my wallet usually says otherwise.
Splurges: Makeup, bras, sex toys, sushi, cocktail/evening dresses, gardening/landscaping stuff, body jewelry, manicures, stinky green stuff
Save: Clothes, non-piercing jewelry, shampoo, water (you'll never catch me buying fancy bottled water), books (always try to get em used), designer anything (I'm an outlet whore), most skincare stuff.

you should buy good quality cheese.. cheap cheese often has corn syrup solids and such in it...
