I would have to agree with

I would have to agree with this question, the goal shouldn't always be to make it better but only to do it justice. I think it was done in this case.

The goal doesn't have to be improvement... but no one sings that song like Jeff Buckley.. and though lots of people can sing it very well... nothing personal, Scoops, but I always feel any version is not doing justice to the Buckley version.

I agree that there are some songs that you just shouldn't cover. I also agree that this is one of them. But you DO know that the buckley version is a cover version, right?
