Slept on an air mattress (thanks Suzann!) and through a chirping smoke detector (low battery but it's like 20' off the ground... got a call in to the building manager) but I awoke for the first time in the loft :D

Zoe still hasn't come out of the closet. She's lost her cozy, crowded, nook-y attic and is now in a huge, bright, open, noisy space.

Internet installation is due by 11am but other than that, it's another day of moving stuff and unpacking! But first I'm going to try and get a cam up.

Michele (the owner of said attic I was staying in before) fell and broke her shoulder the other day :( I can't even imagine how crazy she's going... she's a total go-getter and an artist by trade (yes it's her right shoulder) and she's going mad sitting on the couch all day. But one positive side effect is that she's going to let Chris and I use her station wagon for a bit when he's here. I guess she won't be driving stick anytime soon...
