I did something today that I rarely do -- went crazy shopping. It was for good reason though. I caught an ad in the paper the other day for an Emily Strange warehouse/sampler sale, and it turned out that it was the actual comic shop itself that's moving and clearing out their stock.  The artist was there and everything!  I completely forgot to get a picture though.

I've always coveted Emily Strange stuff but never purchased it because it's so bloody expensive.  I was so so so tempted to buy up a bunch of stuff to sell on eBay, but it's not like I don't have a thousand other things to do.  I mean we're talking some one-of-a-kind samples and old rare stock and stuff too.  I spent a total of $109.  For this I got:

• A furry cat-eared hoodie with mitts
• A red knitted sweater with a cat wearing glasses on it
• A grey Emily/cat print sweater
• Some undies
• Red & black thigh-highs
• A couple pairs of socks
• Two long-sleeved shirts (one says "itty bitty kitty committee" on it, teehee, and the other is this awesome faux cross stitch skull thing)
• Two babydoll t-shirts (corset lace print, and a musical kitties one)
• A sleek pair of black trousers
• A printed/lace slip dress
• A knitted tote bag for a gift
• A belt

So I feel justified.
