Starting to get out of this funk a little more. Applied for a whole load of jobs today. Focusing on what I'm excited about instead of the things that aren't the way I want them right now.

And this week I'll be meeting a bunch of Chris's family. Considering I haven't yet been relinquished of my title of satan to many of them, this'll be interesting :) And it's hoooooot in Sacramento. I think meeting face-to-face is extremely important though... much fewer assumptions, aggrandizements... Plus I'll get to see his sons again. Those two have certainly wriggled their way into my heart. They're like the little brothers I never had :)

Still hacking up a lung every now and then and I can't sing worth shit. Grr. Everyone's been trying to convince me that it's allergies, and I'm inclined to agree. Either that or I've had three 2+ week colds since April. Maybe it's been so bad this year because I moved to the smog of Toronto. Hrm. Of course now I want to do an allergy test as soon as I'm away from the land of free health care.
