So, how was MTV?

Why thanks for asking! It was pretty fun :) Behind the scenes is always fascinating. The video clip is a quick pan just after I was on.

It was a lot... fluffier than I expected. Call me naive, but I was expecting a real discussion on geekdom, not a "hey, here are a couple of cool people, so you're a geek, okay bye!" Everyone was sweet as all hell though, and I got to hang out with Amber Mac! Leo Laporte was actually supposed to pick her up, and I was going to meet him, but that didn't work out. Oh well, another time. We're definitely going to keep in touch about me popping on commandN sometime in the near future.

So yeah, fun. I was totally chatting on IRC on my PDA on live TV after our bit :D

I'll get a copy of the show but I'm not sure how much of it I can post publicly. I'll keep ya posted.

So, thanks MTV for a truly interesting experience :)

Neat. You should wander into the chat for Leo's weekend radio show out of LA. He's usually in there, and the chat is fun. Amber's a really nice person, too. She's popped up in the chats a couple of times. Maybe when Leo does a book signing in Toronto again I'll have to drive up and make a day of it.

mtv doesn't take risks.

it would get lots of viewers.

also do you ever get bored of the nudity questions. and why no nudity on the blog.

The documentary is still in editing. I actually talked to Jay today and they're trying to score a particular editor. Dunno if it'll be on TV though.

I don't think the general MTV audience wants to hear most of what I like to talk about :)

Many people read the blog and site at work, I try to keep NSFW stuff to the galleries and other pages.
