The open bug report thread
Juuuuust to be a little pre-emptive here :)
So far I know the following things aren't working right:
v6 url popping up a few places. I think this might just be DNS issues, but sometimes it throws you back to the v6.stephthegeek.com url. I'll wait and see if that one resolves itselfshouldn't be happening anymore- Can't add me (and a couple other users) to your buddylist. Others seem to work fine though. Looking into it.
- Join dates are off. Just gotta write a query for that, should be fixed shortly
Some Gallery features, such as adding comments and subscribing to RSS feeds. working!- Profiles. The profiles aren't completely formatted right, and not all fields show up
- Access to members gallery. This is my top priority when I get back from camping. If you didn't have a forum account previously, your Gallery status won't exist so you won't be able to see the private albums
- §points redemption for memberships
- Thumbnails for streaming cam archives (I'm finally putting up ALL 5GB or so of the streams, but trying to get the mplayer plugin for Gallery to work still)
- Replies to forum threads that were imported from the old site are a little wonky, sometimes posts appear out of order. You can change your view to "flat" from "threaded" at the bottom if you don't want to view posts threaded
- Login problems: I've encountered a few login problems so far related to either cookies, browsers saving logins, and software firewalls/internet security apps. If you are having trouble logging in, please try clearing your cookies/passwords for StG and temporarily disabling security apps to see if that is the problem first

Moleculor, your post is there but the forums are threaded, so it appears after the post you replied to. I have a theme on here so the forums always appear more like a traditional flat forum, but if you guys prefer otherwise I can change that.

Webcam popups
I also just realized that webcam popups aren't getting your membership statuses, so you're not getting the faster refreshes and stuff. I've figured out how to fix this but it's probably not going to happen in the next couple hours before I go camping. That and correcting the membership access in Gallery are my top priorities, however.
Re: time zones
Ok I found out that there was movement to try and get daylight savings time into Drupal 4.7 but it didn't quite make it. So Drupal doesn't have a setting to account for DST, so the time zones you set in your profiles will be an hour off for those on DST. I'm leery to apply a hack for something like this so I'll keep an eye out for a well-tested patch.

not so much a bug as a *sigh* really... like your old page, this new layout really is not completely friendly to people who have crappy monitors/laptop screen resolutions. on the main page, the floating island on the right overlaps with the main content island unless i have my browser maximized (which is rather inconvenient for multitasking and trying to watch other stuff on my screen other than my web browser). i don't think there's a good way to scale the pretty images and such down to fit everyone's computer screen without making it look tiny on the screens with massive resolutions, though. i guess i should also qualify this comment with the fact that i feel this is a slightly easier to use main page, because i don't have to actually scroll across horizontally to see all the content anymore.
also, i miss the little link in the webcam/lifecam pop-up window to toggle between the two.
update: on the preview page, there's no link with more info on spoints.

Yes I still need to make those little islands go *behind* the main one when they overlap. I know it's pushing the limits of resolutions like the last layout did (most people are at 1024+ by now, but that doesn't help when it's not maximized), but I did try to keep everything even more compact so it's better for smaller resolutions than the last layout. If you do prefer a simpler, more scaleable theme, you can actually choose a different theme in your profile.

Couple of queries
Maybe I'm just not following what I need to do (or what isn't up yet), but I can't access the members only galleries, I just get a "Page Not Found" when clicking where it says "More albums available for registered users". Also, how exactly am I supposed to reset my password and what is this for? I could log in fine without doing so, unless this is for the paid member part (which would explain my problems). If I click where the reset password link, I get an error; should I just set a new password manually in my personal settings?

Some users needed to reset their passwords in order to log in. It was simply dependent on when/where you created your account. Looks like yours worked fine though :) No need to change it.
I hit a bit of a snag with linking up gallery users, so you may not be seeing the private albums. Now that I'm back from camping, it's my top priority to get that fixed within the next day.
Craig, yes, that's the problem I was referring to. I realized that I can't call the functions that I'm trying to within the type of page I was using, so I have to reengineer something. That'll be working tomorrow :)
On the subject of wingless
I'm not sure how the "random" feature's supposed to work on the main page, but for me it's been showing wingless's name and details for the better part of a day and a half. Whilst I'm sure he's flattered by the attention, it doesn't sound very random

Checked out the galley, couldn't see the private galleries. Not sure about the sidebar - is that the bar on the right with who's online, etc? If not, I don't see it.

Private Albums Folder
I still can't access the private albums folder. In fact, the only members content I have access to appears to be the private forum and the members webcams. Can't find the videos, streaming cam archives or photos that used to be available to members.

Ok I got tww1fa's account figured out... still trying to figure out exactly what the hook is that updates the accounts directly. All of the members content is under that one folder, so that's why none of it is showing up :\ I've got support requests in with both Drupal and Gallery, as well as my own efforts here. I won't put up the new stuff until everyone has access once again, don't worry!
New login
As a confused person I previously accidentally set up two separate identities: one is this one (pepc) and one is a paid for membership as pepsi_cola. When I try to reset either account it won't let me as it says that my email address is already in use! (Presumably by the other me.) Can you merge me back together and make me one person again so I can complete the re-registation process? Either name would be good!
Members' Content
This is a bit of a follow-up to magicrat's post, as I believe I'm in much of a similar boat to him. I'm not absolutely sure what members' content I'm meant to have because, as you know, I've only just got the opportunity to become a member. So. As an example, I am browsing the gallery page and I can see the following albums:
Mobile Photos; Webcam Portal; Mp3 Downloads; New apartment; Everyday Life; School; Music; Home; Family; In The Past; Link Me!; Friends; Travel
for a total of 13 available albums. Am I meant to be able to see more? If I am, I hope this is a bit of help with respect to what exactly there may be problems with.
