Awww man! That's brutal! I'm so sorry to hear! *hugs and smooches*

Can you retake the exam given the insane circumstances of the day?

How's this?
My truck dies Sunday, and needs more than a thousand dollars in repairs. I've had writer's block for three days, and I write tv ads for a living. My roomate meets a nice, smart, interesting girl and proceeds to be his usual assh**e self. Do I talk to him about her and he will get pissed off, or I keep silent and feel like a hypocrite?
<sigh>
Not saying my day was worse, but we all have hard times. You have to keep going, and trying to find a little happiness every day. And yes I was a psychology grad student at one point. I'll drink a beer for you and me, FrEnZy, a Guinness at that.

Oh Jeez FrEnZy,
Do you rate that as just "a really sh*yyt day" ?
If it happened to me It'd go straight to first place as worst day of my life!
Annoying people over the net may not be very polite but it's certainly better than taking it out on a member of your family!
And look the next day you're explaining and apologising so I don't think anyone would hold it against you.

Frenzy-

Yep you take the cake for the worst day! I was all pissed because I have to take my dog to the vet due to constipation.

But you did stand your ground and fought off your attacker. That has to give you some sort of personal satisfaction that you didnt knuckle under and just hand it over in the face of adversity! Good job! He might think twice about doing it next time.

And congrats on the exilim, Steph. They rock! You rock!

Yeah, Delfin is dead on the money there. I have a friend who got held up at a cash point getting some money out by two kids, one of whom had a knife. He kicked one in the nuts and ran, but he kept both his money and (most of) his dignity.

You stood up for yourself, that's not a bad thing. At least it shows you have a backbone! -)

That sucks. Water in the house is a nightmare. Living on Galveston and all i have seen my share not including the possible damage to the electronics.

The silver lining (there is alwaysone..... You werent using it at the time and saved yourself from a little shot of HL&P (Houston Lighting and Power, feel free to use your own providers name) and your moms was in to clean up the situation.

I got dog bit this morning! But the silver lining (well, yall will understand in a minute) was that it was early, the dog run gate was shut so she could not get to the doghouse, and she had slept in the rain all night long. I was kinda teasing her with her breakfast and she bit me. It wasnt really hard or anything just a, "stop being a fucker" nip. I guess she'll keep me in line next dove season when I am going to get my own birds....... I love my puppy...

I hear ya on that one. Not only will she wolf down her own crap but I also have to keep an eye out on the kitty litter box or she will hoover up all the cat crap too.

But she is still the smartest bestest friend o' man! She finally figured out last night that putting the ball in and releasing it right in my hand facilitates the next throw!

Next comes field training!! Whoooo Hooooo!
