What I like I lick, what I don't I kick!

This is actually who I've been listening to lately: Dominic Gaudious. Went to Borders to grab some books (go figure) and he was playing live. Never heard him before, but it was great. Bought a CD while there, got 2 more off iTunes.

Interesting side note: I had a conversation with a Borders employee that went something like this:

Me: "What kind of music is this?"
Him: "Is the guy white?
Me: "Errr...yes."
Him: "Oh, then it's New Age."
Me: "What if the guy wasn't white?"
Him: "Then it's World Music."
Me: "Are you serious?"
Him: "It works out that way more than you'd think."

I think he was mostly serious, even though he had a smirk on his face when he said it.

If we're all chum, I'm definitely one of the chunky bits.

Yes. Because white people aren't part the world.

It's true. We're not part of the world. We don't even really know where the world is.

Ofcourse we do.. it's that place where world music comes from.

Anyway.. listen tips:

Damien Rice!

I'm gonna eat you little fishie

"Plumb" a great Christian rock group.

Thus with imagined wing our swift scene flies,
In motion of no less celerity
Than that of thought.

"Every 'donk-donk' signifies a quick advance in the plot"

Anything by Nada Surf. Particularly from the CD, "Let Go," even more specifically the song from aforementioned CD, "Paper Boats."

La mort est seulement le commencement.

"dann ist aber die kacke am dampfen."

A lot of people don't know that Stabbing Westward's founder and singer, Christopher Hall, has started a new band named The Dreaming. This new band reflects the earlier sound and sentiment of Stabbing Westward's second and third albums; harder, more desperate and ambivalent.
I bought their demo disc and really enjoy it. I look forward to a full album release.

I've been listening to him since the day of your post... Great stuff. I'll pop for the CD shortly; the samples aren't long enough.
