3,000 with the name of Suzann, but only 700 of the last name Fassnacht. But I am the only Suzann Fassnacht, makes me feel kind of special.

I'm not special. There are 426 of me.

Well, I guess I am special, cause all of them live in the US and I live in Canada :P

This is not a "database of names", but a statistical sampling of "377,000 persons living in 165,000 housing units in
5,300 predefined blocks (or block clusters)" from a supplemental survey of the 1990 census (to help fill in data on people who weren't included in the mass-mailing of forms).

So what this site is basing the "number of people with your name" on is a statistical construct based on a targetted sample of 2.4% of the population.
